WIN TICKETS: Writers go to the Movies
This new monthly film series will feature a writer and a movie that has informed or inspired their writing practice. After the movie, the writer and a specialist (someone engaged with the film’s themes or subject matter – a dancer/ scientist/ lawyer/ painter/ film scholar/ activist etc.) will have a conversation about the film, writing, art making, and the ways in which different practices inform one another. February will feature poet Ed Bok Lee and professor Andrea Bell discussing the film “Arrival.”
