The Women in Crisis Film Series: Mind Over Murder

 httpv://youtu.be/OPlz9sBl7Pk

The Women in Crisis Film Series continues to be one of my favorite events to attend each month.  There’s something truly therapeutic about laughing hard for 2 hours straight with a drink in hand.  At the Women in Crisis Film Series, watch a horrible Lifetime Original movie while a panel of lively gays mock the film in real time.

If there is a place where bad writing, bad cinematography, bad plastic surgury and bad acting converge there you will find this film.  Holly Winters (Tori Spelling), an assistant D.A. in her mid-30s who has had too much plastic surgury, is hit by a car three times injuring her head. As a result, she discovers that she has the ability to read people’s minds. Although somewhat disoriented by this new skill, she soon realizes that it can be an asset both at work and in her personal life.  Co-starring Dean McDermott as the best actor in the film (which goes to show you just how bad it really is.)
