The Lowertown Blues Festival

The Lowertown Blues Festival started out in 2003 as “Famous Dave’s BBQ and Blues Festival” in Peavey Plaza,  Minneapolis, MN. It is now the largest free blues festival in the Twin Cities. After several changes and construction at Peavey Plaza, the festival found itself without a home in 2012, and the next year was moved to it’s present location in Lowertown St. Paul in beautiful Mears Park. Now in it’s 5th year, the people involved with this festival take great pride in working year round to promote Blues music in the Twin Cities, and put on a FREE event for all to enjoy.
