Stone Arch Bridge Festival of the Arts

This is one of my favorite events of the year!

The 2011 Stone Arch Festival of the Arts will be held on June 18 & 19 along the stunning Mississippi River in Northeast Minneapolis. In its 16 years, this free, two day festival held on Father’s Day weekend, has brought nearly a million people to the Minneapolis downtown Riverfront District. The festival features more than 250 visual artists, 60 live performances and family entertainment.

• ARTIST BOOTHS! Original, inspiring, engaging, imaginative Hundreds of artists from across the country apply to be juried into the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts. Patrons enjoy shopping for treasures by the wide variety of talented artists that appeal to a range of tastes and pocketbooks.

• LIVE MUSIC! Music, Dance and Theater Performances What sets the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts apart from other local art festivals is the inclusion of live art genres including 60 dance, theater and music performances on four stages throughout the weekend.
