Shakespeare in the Park: A Comedy of Errors
Cromulent Shakespeare Company presents free performances of The Comedy of Errors in Twin Cities area parks this June. When two sets of twins separated at birth and unknown to one another—one rich and one poor–wind up in the same city, it’s mix-ups and mayhem Shakespeare style. Directed by David Schlosser, this production of Shakespeare’s merry farce makes the most of the play’s timeless jokes and physical comedy.
“What better way to celebrate the 450th birth year of William Shakespeare, than watching the silly chaos brought about by arrests, confused relatives and swindled merchants in The Comedy of Errors,” says Schlosser. “So grab the kids and a blanket or lawn chair and join us in the park as a great cast brings one of the Bard’s best slapstick comedies to life.”
