Sambusa Sunday

In spite of threats to members of our community before and after the election, many Somalis have shared they have been heartened by the support they are receiving from local residents. To thank those who are standing with us in very uncertain times, the Coalition of Somali American Leaders, supported by the Minneapolis Foundation, is hosting Sambusa Sunday this Sunday (Nov. 13) from 4-5:30 p.m. in Loring Park.

This is a neighborhood gathering where we will be giving out free sambusa and chai! It’s not a rally and no big speeches. Just come to the park on a sunny fall day, visit with your neighbors and let all of Minneapolis know, we stand together!
