REVIEW: MOYA by Zip Zap Circus

If you’re looking for a high-energy, music-filled experience that is suitable for all ages, the Moya Zip Zap Circus at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis is a great option. The vibrant music sets the tone for an evening of fun and excitement. The performers’ enthusiasm is infectious and they treated last night as if the show was for one night only. It’s clear that they absolutely love what they do and that adds such a great deal to the quality of the production.

The South African music is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the show. It’s lively, engaging, and perfectly complements the circus acts.

When it comes to the circus skills, the performers are undeniably talented. They execute their routines with precision and flair, showcasing a range of traditional acrobatic/circus acts. However, while the skills displayed are impressive, they don’t quite reach the level of being revolutionary or jaw-dropping. The acts are solid and entertaining, but if you’re expecting something completely out of the ordinary, you might find yourself wanting a bit more.

In summary, it’s a great show for families and anyone looking to enjoy a lively performance with a lot of heart.
