REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Yess Yoga
I was invited to try out Yess Yoga studio and attended a class this past Friday.
Yess Yoga has a nice, no-frills, one-room studio with a bamboo floor and a gorgeous tin ceiling I found useful for finding a drishti. There is no mirror in this studio, which I initially thought I would dislike. I found the lack of mirror, a bit calming, however, as it allowed me to concentrate on how I was feeling in each each pose versus how it looked. The studio was pretty packed, but not crowded, on a Friday evening with male and female 20-30 somethings probably unwinding from a week at work.
The class I attended was taught by Lucia, who teaches on Monday, Tuesday Friday, and Saturdays. Her vinyasa flow was unique and interesting. I didn’t get bored and it felt very balanced. My whole body got a stretch and workout without feeling like one area was overworked. She took requests at the beginning of class and provided a lot of assists throughout the class to get me deeper into a pose. I liked this personal attention to the class. It has the feeling of a community yoga studio.
I am thrilled to host a giveaway for for Yess Yoga! I have three packages of three classes to give away. To enter to win one of the packages, comment on this Facebook post with your favorite yoga pose. The winners will be randomly selected on Wednesday, January 22 at Noon and announced via Facebook.
