Minneapolis Restaurant Week
MPLS St. Paul Magazine’s Fall Restaurant Week is right around the corner! October 23-28, participating restaurants will present specially priced meals (lunch, dinner, or both) that showcase their culinary offerings in the local dining scenes. Lunches are $10/20 and dinner is $15/30 depending on the venue. Tax, wine, beverages and tip are not included in that price. Some of the participating restaurants include Bradstreet Crafthouse, Cafe and Bar Lurcat, Fogo de Chao, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Solera and Urban Eatery. Although the $15 Bradstreet Crafthouse menu is awfully impressive and includes a lobster option, here’s the menu I would choose from the $30 Cafe and Bar Lurcat dinner menu (in bold):

- Lurcat Crab Cake
- Butternut Squash Soup
- Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato with Blue Cheese and Buttermilk Dressing
- Apple, Cheese and Chive Salad
- Entrée (Choose One):
- Pot Roast with Red Wine and Potato Puree
- Pork Tenderloin with Spiced Cherries and Couscous
- House-Made Udon Noodles with Chinese Barbeque Chicken and Caramelized Orange Sauce
- Sautéed Barramundi with Lemon, Parsley and Toasted Hazelnuts
- Dessert (Choose One):
- Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake
- Maple Pot de Creme
- Ice Cream or Sorbet
- Warm Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnuts
