RECAP: The Art Shanty Projects - PhenoMNal twin cities

The Art Shanty Projects encompass everything that is wonderful about the Twin Cities. It’s a free event to appreciate the outdoors, art, and Minnesota hospitality. To sum up the Art Shanty Project without giving too much away, you simply go to Medicine Lake and hang out with a bunch of strangers in their artistically created shanties for as little or as long as you wish. Some have activities and others have snacks or goodies. You meet new people, see new things, get outdoors and have fun. I’m sure everyone has their own experience at the Art Shanty Project because it really is what you make of it.

Definitely don’t miss the “Naughty Shanty.” I think this one was my favorite. Also, be sure to grab a “Chester Dog” as shown below. I think every hot dog needs to have Cheetos on it!!
