Park(ing) Day Celebration

On September 20th, join us for the largest Park(ing) Day celebration in the Twin Cities! This second annual local event is part of an international celebration that transforms parking spots into temporary public parks across Southwest Minneapolis (and the world). Businesses in these intersections will be joining us on the streets and have sidewalk sales, crafts, games and more. 

The parklets will be located in 9 business nodes and each one will highlight the unique businesses at that intersection: 

•    38th St. and Grand Ave.
•    42nd St. and Grand Ave.
•    46th St. and Grand Ave.
•    48th St. and Grand Ave.
•    36th St. and Bryant Ave. (new node this year)
•    38th St. and Nicollet Ave. (new node this year)
•    50th St. and Penn Ave. (new node this year)
•    50th St. and Xerxes Ave. (new node this year)
•    54th St. and Lyndale Ave. (new node this year)
