May 11: St. Paul Saints Block Party

The St. Paul Saints are having a block party May 11 from 11:30am – 1:00pm on Robert Street between 6th street and 7th place.  This party kicks off the 2011 season and fans are encouraged to bring their gloves for taking part in the World’s Largest Game of Catch.  All attendees will also receive a free soft baseball for signing by the entire 2011 team, who will be in attendance.

For lunch, White Castle Slyders (2 for $1) and slices of pizza from Little Caesars (one slice for $1) will be available.  Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery will be sampling its cheese curds and will have packages available for sale.  Soda and water will be provided free of charge courtesy of the Saints and 7-UP.  Proceeds from all food sales will be donated to the charity of their choosing.
