Fulton Beer Stout Oat Crunch Ice Cream

Wowza!  Sweet Science Ice Cream has joined forces with Fulton Beer to create Stout Oat Crunch ice cream! Your first chance to get your hands on it will be Sunday at their monthly ice cream tasting. To create this ice cream they start with grass-fed organic milk, and combine it with brown sugar, Fulton Worthy Adversary Stout, and oat praline. The result is a rich, malty-caramel flavor with some crunch from the oats which bring out the nuttiness of the beer.

I note that this ice cream is not budget friendly if you plan on inhaling it by the scoopful but it’s definitely worth checking out.  Find a flavor you love, buy a pint (about $9) and savor each spoonful slowly.  This is definitely one local product worth splurging on (and also makes a great gift!).
