Free Shakespeare in the Park: Julius Ceasar
Nothing is new–even in politics. In this play, a close friend of Julius Caesar is cajoled into joining a group of vengeful conspirators who fear that Caesar is becoming too powerful. The conspiracy is successful, but was it to the nation’s benefit? Lessons unlearned in history, plague us still.
Come watch a free production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar by the Cromulent Shakespeare Company at local parks in the Twin Cities this June.
This weekend there are two shows:
Saturday, June 18, 7 p.m. – Lake Phalen Park, 1615 Phalen Dr., St. Paul
Sunday, June 19, 12 Noon – Centennial Lakes Park, 7499 France Ave. S, Edina
