Discount MN State Fair Tickets

Before you get too excited, know that discount tickets for the Minnesota State Fair are hard to come by.  There are a few options, however, for a young adult to save a few bucks.

PRE-PURCHASED TICKETS (Through Aug. 22 at the State Fairgrounds Box Office & Participating Cub Foods locations)

  • All Ages: $9

THRIFTY THURSDAY (Aug. 23)

  • Adults (13-64): $10
  • Seniors (65 & over): $10
  • Kids (5-12): $7
  • Children (Under 5): Free

MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY (Tuesday, Aug. 28)

Active military, retired military and veterans receive the following discounted admission ticket price when they purchase a ticket at the gate and present valid documentation of military service.

  • Active military, their spouses and kids: $7
  • Retired military and their spouses: $7
  • Military veterans and their spouses: $7

READ & RIDE DAY (Wednesday, Aug. 29)

Public library card holders receive the following discounted admission ticket price when they purchase a ticket at the gate and present a valid library card. (One discount per card.)

  • Adults (13-64): $10
  • Seniors (65 & over): $7
  • Kids (5-12): $7
  • Children (Under 5): Free

Regular admission is $12 for an adult.
