Cocktails at the Castle
The American Swedish Institute, 89.3 The Current, Yelp! and Indeed Brewing invite you to the hottest party of the summer:
Join us for a night full of glass blowing, outdoor games, live music, creative antics, street food and cocktails by FIKA, and DIY glass art at the American Swedish Institute’s historic Turnblad castle and contemporary Nelson Cultural Center.
The evening features live music by local bands and artists Southside Desire and The Golden Bubbles.
Cocktails at the Castle is putting a contemporary Minnesota spin on the Swedish tradition of a hyttsill—where folks gather to watch glass artists create while sharing a meal and drink (or two). Hyttsill literally translates to “hot shop herring.” At ASI, we’ll fire up the grill and tap the keg at multiple bars across the grounds in what is sure to be one of the most innovative parties of the summer.
