Third Thursday: Art Perchance?

Have a fun-lover’s heart and a gambler’s soul? Enjoy a night of zany art-based games at Art Perchance at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

Save the date for the most fun event of the summer short of the State Fair! Art Perchance returns to the MIA’s great outdoors. Play carnival games of skill and luck, and earn chances to win an original work of art by a local artist. Step right up and try your luck with 10 witty carnival games based on art in the MIA’s collection, such as Hoopla Doryphoros, Fool the Guesser, and ARTcentration.

In the spirit of Third Thursday, the artful midway is open to the public. Make the most of Art Perchance with VIP patron access to receive free chances for the drawing and more! Or donate during the event to receive a wristband that allows you to earn a “chance” when you win a game.

It’s all part of Art Perchance, the summer fund-raiser thrown by the Friends of the Institute to raise money for some very worthy causes.
