A Neighborhood of Rain Gardens
Playing one night only at the Eastside Co-Op!
Everyone knows our waters are troubled. So what do we do about Minnesota’s impaired lakes, rivers, and watersheds? Hundreds of Powderhorn residents got together with Metro Blooms to create “A Neighborhood of Raingardens.” Theirs is a bold attempt to clean up Powderhorn Lake, one yard at a time. Is it working? The film follows “A Neighborhood of Raingardens” from inception to fruition, illustrating the promises and problems of this exciting new citizen-centered approach to watershed management. A Neighborhood of Raingardens could change the way we think about our water, our homes, and our neighborhoods.
