Sidewalk tour

The Common Room is sponsoring artist-led tours through Minneapolis.  On August 17, Bill Lindeke, of the celebrated local blog TC Sidewalks, will lead a foot tour of some of the human-scale highlights of the areas surrounding The Soap Factory. Drawing on his interest in history, infrastructure, and urban planning, his tour will include abandoned industrial sites, urban jungles, railroad tracks, brownfields, alleyways, storefronts, and — of course — sidewalks. The tour will be conducted on foot, so participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.
