Discount MN State Fair Tickets

Before you get too excited, know that discount tickets for the Minnesota State Fair are hard to come by.  There are a few options, however, to save a few bucks.

PRE-PURCHASED TICKETS:

THRIFTY THURSDAY (Thursday, Aug. 22)

  • Adults: $13
  • Kids (5-12) & Seniors (65+) : $10
  • Children (Under 5): Free

SENIORS & KIDS DAY (Monday, Aug. 26)

  • Seniors (65+) and kids (5-12): $10
  • Children (under 5): Free

MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY (Tuesday, Aug. 27)

Active military, retired military and veterans receive the following discounted admission ticket price when they purchase a ticket at the gate and present valid documentation of military service.

  • Military & family: $10

READ & RIDE DAY (Wednesday, Aug. 28)

Public library card holders receive the following discounted admission ticket price when they purchase a ticket at the gate and present a valid library card. (One discount per card.)

  • Adults (13-64): $13
  • Kids (5-12) & Seniors (65 & over): $10
  • Children (Under 5): Free

SENIORS DAY (Thursday, Aug. 29)

  • Seniors 65+: $10

KIDS & LAST CHANCE DAY (Monday, Sept. 2)

  • Discounted admission price for kids at the entrance gates: $10 for kids (5-12).
  • Deals on merchandise and food for all fair guests. All-day specials offered on Mighty Midway and Kidway rides & games.
