We’ll start by heading to the Great Waters Brewing Company in St. Paul, where our porcine posse will be waiting to greet us and check us in. After everyone’s arrived, we’ll belly up for a tasting of four gourmet bacon-centered pairings—think a bacon hush puppy with bacon jam or a bacon chocolate tart with sea salt. Each of these tastings will be paired with a 5-oz. glass of Great Waters craft brew in a souvenir LivingSocial tasting glass that’s ours to take home at the end of the evening. Appropriately, the whole event will take place in the Historic “Hamm” Building in downtown St. Paul, a former cathedral converted into a stylish pub and brewery.
