Winter is officially over

My friend Justin commutes to work via bicycle every morning. His morning ice-beards have looked different this winter.

The Star Tribune is claiming that winter is officially over.  I’m not sure winter ever really started, however.  This is the first year that I never took my xc skis out of the garage.  Gloves and scarves often were optional.  I wore my super-duty North Face coat only once.  I do like many winter activities but it was really nice to take a break this year.  I could live quite happily if we skipped winter every other year or two.
