City Pages announced a new annual downtown music festival, 10 Thousand Sounds, will take place Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Minneapolis, the hub of the vibrant Twin Cities music scene.

The single-stage, outdoor event will be held near Eighth Street and Hennepin Avenue from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. and offer a multi-genre lineup anchored by the Walkmen and Free Energy. With a wide range of local talent rounding out the bill, the festival is sure to offer Minnesotans an eclectic, energized evening of live music.

Free admission to the Official After party at Mill City Nights with DJ sets by Free Energy & BadNraD with 10 Thousand Sounds Wristb and 10pm – 2am at Mill City Nights.
