The Maplewood Candlelight Ski/Shoe/Hike

The 1 mile trial around Cataract Lake will be groomed and lit for skiers, snowshoers, and hikers. Snowshoes will also be available for your use if you would like to try them. Participants over the age of 16 who will be on skis will need a Minnesota Ski Pass. You can purchase a day pass at the office for $6 or an annual pass for $20. Hikers and snowshoers do not need a ski pass. The Friends of Maplewood will have chili, hot drinks, and a bonfire starting at 5:00 PM, with the 150 candles lit at 6:00. Come out and enjoy a winter evening at Maplewood State Park
