1968: An extraordinary year
Comedy. Tragedy. A president steps down. A leader’s shot down. Love and hate. Violence on the front lines and on the home front. Graceful athletes meet powerful protests. The promise of law and order. A hope-filled view of heaven and earth. 1968 was erupting with extremes. In one single year we saw it all. Now we can experience it all in one unforgettable exhibit.
This special exhibit is on view at the Minneapolis History Center until February 28, 2012. Tickets are regularly $10 for adults but on Tuesday nights the museum is FREE from 5-8pm!
